Yelp's algorithm sure loves what's cooking in Broward and Palm Beach counties, with 22 restaurants in these areas occupying the site's just-released 2023 ranking of the 'Top 100 Places to Eat in Florida.' The list, released Tuesday morning by the crowdsourced review site, rated the restaurants on many criteria, such as counting the volume and high ratings of user reviews between Jan. 1, 2022, and Jan. 1, 2023. According to a blog entry sent to the South Florida Sun Sentinel by a Yelp spokesperson, the Sunshine State-centric list represents 'places consumers are loving right now,' a ranking 'powered by the people, not a small group of restaurant critics.
